The Quirk Factor
Three Twins Founding Twin, Neal Gottlieb, wears his heart on his sleeve and pints on his pants.
Three Twins Factories
We can create over 30,000 pints of packaged, seasonal and specialty ice cream flavors every day between our two factories.
Chocolate Chip Check
We use close to 1,000,000 chips in one full day’s production run of our Vanilla Chocolate Chip ice cream
Where Do You Get Your Recipes?
“They are developed in-house. It’s not actually that hard to make good ice cream if you use good ingredients and leave out the crap.” – Neal Gottlieb
USDA Certified Organic
We take pride in only offering organic products. Three Twins currently offers the United States’ most expansive line of organic ice cream.
The First Chocolate
Three Twins first chocolate ice cream flavor was named Mmmm Chocolate. Since then, this flavor has grown up to become our sure-to-please Bittersweet Chocolate flavor.
Back in the Day
Before the Three Twins Ice Cream factory was built, our employees mixed, packaged and labeled a few hundred pints per week by hand.
Back to Basics
We combine organic ingredients: milk and cream with sugar and eggs to make our own simple ice cream base. We only use ingredients that will make our ice cream delicious and leave out those that do not.
Ice Cream for Acres
You fund the purchase of 6 square feet of rainforest land, sensitive habitats, and other significant spaces, whenever you purchase a pint of our ice cream.
Ingredients Make the Ice Cream
That’s why we are committed to using full-flavored, certified organic ingredients purchased from producers who take pride in their work.
Berkeley Farmers’ Market
Three Twins sells scoops and ice cream sandwiches at the Berkeley Farmers’ Market each Saturday. Stop by and say hello to Maxine and Simon, the parents of Founding Twin, Neal Gottlieb!
Name Your Own Price
Three Twins has hosted two “name your own price” events that together have raised about $7,000 towards local environmental action networks.
“A little dose of personal branding can go a long way. If that means showing a little of what my momma gave me or sporting custom ice cream cone pants, why not?” – Neal Gottlieb
Our ice cream is made in our very own 4,200 square foot ice cream factory in Petaluma, California and our 25,000 square foot factory in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
